Business owners who burnout are often motivated by external perception, either so driven by what people think that they go way beyond their capacity, or they are so afraid of failure and imperfection they work all the hours to avoid it.
I used to make my decisions based on what other people thought of me and it drove me to exhaustion.
Whilst being conscientious and doing good work is important, we also need to learn how to do it on our own terms.
Let’s learn to find moderation in the things we do and rediscover what is truly important to us.
Otherwise, we become slaves to other people’s agenda
